I became a Trainer to live my passion for fitness, helping clients achieve their goals and maintain health for life. Coming from a fitness background, my approach is to combine functional training with the Pilates practice. I experienced how Pilates helped improve my own conditioning to surf better and prevent injuries. I find that Pilatesʼs precise movements requires a lot of mental focus while being physically challenging just like in any sport, yet is gentle on the body. My passion is teaching mind-body awareness thru movement and I believe Pilates is a practice that can help anyone, whether they hold a desk job or a professional athlete I have extensive experience creating personalized one-on-one fitness planning and training with clients ranging in age, ability and fitness goals. I believe in building client relationships in order to deliver short and long-range fitness goals, with some of my clients having been with me for over 10 years. Being multi-lingual (Portuguese, Spanish), has also assisted in serving a diverse set of clients over the years
With over 15 years experience as a personal trainer and leading group classes ranging from 3 to 20 participants, I am comfortable with facilitating fun and high results trainings with all ages and abilities. I have designed fitness regimes for both individuals and groups and have extensive knowledge of whole body health including nutrition.
